Executive Team

The Executive Team of Compass Property Management is a collection of partners and company leadership; this also includes our local branch General Managers. The General Manager for any of our locations is the primary executive in charge of the entire management operation.

Carolyn Tucker, General Manager

Carolyn has been with CPM for over five years and has worked in all three divisions of the company. As a trusted leader of CPM, she understands the needs of each customer whether it is regarding maintenance, property management or the HOA / Condo Department. Carolyn attended West Virginia University where she studied Business Management / Computer Science, after leaving college she started her first job in the Property Management field in Charlotte, NC. Over the next 22 years Carolyn was a part of the industry in a variety of ways. She was active in marketing and creating ad campaigns for all types of rental properties, she conducted seminars to train leasing agents to how to successfully lease property and resident retention, all the while holding a real estate licensing. She briefly worked with Remax while in Denver, Colorado. In 2007 she achieved her Brokers License and is a member of National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM).

Harold Kalles, MPM®, Partner

Harold has been a member of the Puyallup community his entire life. Harold has been growing the national presence of Compass Property Management through his involvement with the National Association of Property Managers (NARPM), where he holds an executive board position. Harold's immeasurable real estate and property management knowledge are instrumental in the success of our management team. He is also the one of the founding partners of Kalles Properties.

Michael Quinn, Partner

Michael graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. Michael's professional background includes working at IBM, Rational Software, and the founding of BlueTux, which is a web development company. Michael formerly served as a board member for the Port Angeles Chamber of Commerce, United Way of Clallam County, Olympic Medical Center Foundation and Serenity House of Clallam County. Michael's involvement in the property management industry over the last couple years includes working in partnership with the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM) on their website. He is also a partner in Kalles Properties

Derek Kalles, Partner

Derek graduated with a degree in Economics and Business Administration with a concentration in Information Systems from the University of Washington. Derek's professional experience includes working for business and technology consulting firm Accenture, ChevronTexaco, and Salomon Smith Barney. Derek is very involved in his community as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for abused and neglected children, and through his involvement as a board member of the University of Washington Economics Alumni Association. Derek has been involved with property management on both a local and national level. He is also a partner in Kalles Properties.
